Minor Camogie Championship Semi-Final
The minor camogie girls played host to Dicksboro in the Gaeltec Roinn A county semi-final on Sunday morning last, and after a thrilling game which needed extra-time to find a winner, Conahy won out dramatically by a single point. In wet and windy conditions, the two sides could not be separated as the score was 2-8 apiece at the final whistle. Dicksboro looked to have the upper hand after the first period of extra-time, as they scored a third goal to lead 3-8 to 2-9 However, Conahy fought back superbly in the second period, and managed to snatch victory at the death, winning by 3-11 to 3-10. The Conahy girls will now face James Stephens in the county final, with the date and time to be confirmed at the time of writing. Well done to all the girls involved on a great win.

GAA Christmas Party & Bord na nÓg Draw
Conahy Shamrocks GAA Christmas Party will now take place on this Friday, December 23rd, having been postponed last Saturday night due to the weather. Music on the night will be from Eoghan Bergin. Conahy Shamrocks Bórd na nÓg will also hold their Christmas Bonanza Draw on the night, and tickets continues to be available on Clubforce or via Bórd na nÓg committee members at a cost of €20, All support would be greatly appreciated.

The numbers drawn in the most recent Conahy Shamrocks GAA Club Lotto were 5, 18 and 37. There was no jackpot winner so the consolation prize winners were Padraic Healy, Joe Cass, Donal Cass, Kieran Mooney and Fr. Eamon O'Gorman. The promoters' prize winners were Shay Healy, Seamus Óg Brennan and Peter Mulhall. This week's jackpot now increases to €1,300.
